Fort Worth police investigating death of man killed by shotgun blast
A 21-year-old Forest Hill man died early Wednesday after being hit in the face with a shotgun blast, according to authorities.
Stanley Charles Jackson III was found dead by Fort Worth police officers in a parking lot in the 1000 block of Eagle Ridge Drive after they were dispatched to a shots-fired call.
Police detectives are investigating. Jackson’s death was ruled a homicide, and his time of death was recorded shortly after midnight, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Police did not release any other information about the shooting.
