Police investigate after 21-year-old fatally shot in laundry room near Fort Worth

Euless police were investigating after a 21-year-old man was found fatally shot inside a laundry room Saturday night.

Police responded to the shooting at Manchester Apartments, at 100 Manchester Drive in Euless, at 9:17 p.m. Saturday. They found the man with a single gunshot wound in the laundry room. He was taken to Baylor Grapevine Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as Austin Wayne Willis. He died of a shotgun wound to his neck, according to the medical examiner’s website.

Any witnesses had left the scene when police arrived. No suspects have been identified, and detectives are investigating, Euless police said in a press release.
