A woman was shot in the leg during a drive-by shooting early Sunday morning in east Fort Worth, police said.

Police responded to a business at 4833 Brentwood Stair Road at 1:30 a.m. where a party had been going on, Fort Worth police officer Bradley Perez said.

A man drove past the business and opened fire on partygoers standing outside. The on-site armed security guards returned fire at the car.

A woman caught in the crossfire was hit in the leg and taken to a local hospital. Her injury was not life-threatening.

The suspect had not been found as of Sunday afternoon, Perez said.
