Man dies at hospital a day after being shot in the head outside Fort Worth house
A 46-year-old man died Friday at a hospital about 30 hours after he was shot in the head in a yard outside a Fort Worth house.
Luis Gonzalez Marquez, of Ryan, died at John Peter Smith Hospital, the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office said.
Marquez was shot at about 9 a.m. Thursday in the 1900 block of NE 36th Street, Fort Worth police said. An assailant left the scene before police arrived.
Police had not announced an arrest or released a motive in Marquez’s killing as of Friday night.
