Man booked on suspicion of murder in connection with east Fort Worth killing

An 18-year-old man was booked Thursday on suspicion of murder in connection with a killing last week at an east Fort Worth house.

Fort Worth police accused Antonio Rodriguez of killing 18-year-old Alejandro Pina on Dec. 10.

Pina died at a hospital after he was shot in the torso at his house in the 4300 block of Vinson Street, authorities have said.

Pina was pronounced dead at about 8 p.m. at John Peter Smith Hospital, about an hour and a half after he was shot, the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office reported.

Fort Worth police have not described a motive in the killing.
