Teenager dies after his sister stabbed him as they drove in Grand Prairie, police say

An 18-year-old Grand Prairie man died Tuesday night after his sister stabbed him as they drove in the city, police said.

Abigail Contreras, 20, stabbed Natanael Contreras from the driver’s seat, Grand Prairie police said. She then drove him to a hospital emergency room.

Abigail Contreras was arrested on suspicion of murder and taken to the Grand Prairie Detention Center. Bond was set at $200,000.

Natanael Contreras was stabbed during a physical fight with his sister, police said.

The vehicle arrived about 9 p.m. at City Hospital Emergency Care Center, 901 W. Jefferson St., police said. Detectives interviewed Abigail Contreras there.
