Pedestrian struck by vehicle in Fort Worth, critically injured, authorities say

A pedestrian was critically injured Friday when he or she was struck by a vehicle in Fort Worth, authorities said.

The person was hit at about 7:30 p.m. at East Lancaster Avenue and West Green Oaks Boulevard, police said.

The victim was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital in critical condition, a MedStar spokesman said.

Police had not released other information about the incident late Friday
