Police were investigating after a body was found in Dallas on Friday afternoon.

A passerby found the body of a black woman in a drainage culvert near Bruton Road and North Masters Drive, police said.

Detectives found no signs of trauma and the woman’s identity was still unknown as of Saturday.

The Dallas County Medical Examiner will try to identity the woman through fingerprints, police said.

The cause of death has not yet been determined.
