Alleged drug dealer called ‘Fatboy’ and 11 others charged with drug crimes in Fort Worth

Twelve people were charged in Fort Worth on Thursday with possessing and selling drugs.

Carlos Hernandez, also known as Fatboy, was charged with selling heroin; so, too, were Omar Ashmore, Lester Polty, Segundo Daniels, Christopher Castillo, Andrea Gardner, Melvin Qualls, Vicki Andrade, Raymon White and Jesus Garcia.

Police say the group has been selling heroin in the area since October 2015, according to charges.

Anthony Moreno was charged with selling methamphetamine and Jerry Hughes was charged with selling heroin since Aug. 12, 2018.

All 12 were arrested in September, and the federal charges against them were disclosed Thursday.

The arrest affidavits for the group have not been unsealed, so there are scant details on the charges.
