Second suspect arrested in drug-related killing of Fort Worth 23-year-old, cops say
A second arrest has been made in the shooting and stabbing death of Diego Martinez, a 23-year-old Fort Worth man, on Nov. 1.
Sonita Rosales, 28, faces a charge of capital murder, according to jail records.
Martinez was robbed and killed by Rosales, 20-year-old Robert Rico and 26-year-old Daniel Rosales during a drug deal, police spokesman Buddy Calzada said Wednesday morning. Sonita and Daniel Rosales are cousins, a family member said.
Rico was arrested on Nov. 22. Sonita Rosales was arrested shortly before 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to jail records. She’s being held on $250,000 bond.
Police said Tuesday afternoon that a warrant had been issued for Daniel Rosales, who remains at large. He is described by police as a Hispanic male with brown hair, standing 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds.
He was last seen in a white 2014 four-door GMC Sierra with black rims and the license plate number KZB3125, fleeing the scene in the 1300 block of E. Butler Street where Martinez was found.

Sonita Rosales has “Faith” tattooed above her right eye, and Rico has “Faith” above his right eye and “Blessed” above his left eye.
Calzada said he didn’t know if there was any significance to the suspects’ face tattoos.
