Body found near Grapevine apartment complex; homicide investigation is underway
A search continued Thursday for a suspect in the killing of a 35-year-old man whose body was found in a wooded area near a Grapevine apartment complex.
The name of the victim had not been released as of Thursday.
Grapevine police found evidence at the scene of foul play, but they have not released any details.
The body was found about 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Wildwood Creek Apartments, 820 E. Dove Loop Road, in Grapevine.
A resident of the complex looked out his window Wednesday morning and saw a man lying face down outside. The resident called 911.
Once they arrived, paramedics determined the man was dead at the scene.
Grapevine detectives did not believe the man lived in the complex nor do they believe any other residents are in danger.
