La Madeleine wallet snatcher strikes again with two new accomplices, police say
Police in Grapevine believe that a woman wanted in a string of wallet thefts at La Madeleine restaurants last August in Dallas-Fort Worth has struck again with two new accomplices.
In the most recent case, the female victim was dining at La Madeleine in Grapevine around noon Friday. Police said two male suspects, along with the woman from the previous thefts, used the victim's stolen credit cards to make purchases at a Target store before she even realized her wallet was missing.
In all of the cases, wallets were stolen from purses hanging on the back of chairs at La Madeleine restaurants and the stolen credit cards were used to make purchases at nearby businesses.
Grapevine police are looking for three people in connection to the most recent theft case. Police are asking anyone with information on the suspects to contact them at 817-410-8127.
