Keller train derailment could cause traffic issues Sunday afternoon

Three major intersections in Keller are expected to be shut down for hours after a train derailed on Sunday afternoon, authorities said.

The minor train derailment occurred about 2 p.m. along the U.S. 377 corridor, Keller police said. Police said the derailment will affect traffic between Golden Triangle Boulevard, Bear Creek Parkway and Wall-Price Keller Road.

Keller police are asking drivers to use alternate routes since the expect that the train repairs could take at least 8 hours.

No injuries were reported.
