A massive search was underway for two suspects accused of killing a store clerk during a robbery in Garland, police said.

Officers discovered the body of a male clerk inside a convenience store late Saturday.

Police identified the clerk as 35-year-old Manish Panday.

Detectives also released surveillance photographs of the two male suspects Sunday morning in hopes that someone would recognize them and contact authorities.

And police released the surveillance video Monday of the suspects walking into the store.

A reward of up to $5,000 has been offered by Garland Crime Stoppers for information leading up to the arrest or indictment of the suspects.

Patrol officers were flagged down by a pedestrian on Broadway Boulevard late Saturday who told them that someone had been shot in the store in the 4700 block of Broadway Boulevard near Oates Road.

Based on the surveillance video, detectives said two armed men walked into the store and attempted to rob the clerk. A struggle ensued between the suspects and the clerk who was fatally shot.

Anyone with information should call police at 972-485-4840. Tips also can be submitted to Garland Crime Stoppers at 972-272-8477 or www.garlandcrimestoppers.org.
