Ticket bought at Dallas store wins $1 million Texas Powerball prize
A Dallas-based trust has claimed a $1 million Powerball prize, the Texas Lottery said in a news release Friday.
Lilly A Harlandale Trust’s second-tier prize winning ticket matched all five of the white ball numbers but not the red Powerball number, according to the release. The ticket was for the Aug. 13 drawing and was purchased at Sam Beer Grill Grocery at 3211 S. Hampton Road.
The Powerball Grand Prize for Saturday, Jan. 10, stands at $124 million. Drawings are broadcast every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:12 p.m.
Experts say the chances of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million. Texas Lottery officials encourage all players to play responsibly.
