DFW Airport issues ground delay on all incoming flights due to staffing Monday

All incoming flights at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport were delayed for nearly 10 hours due to staffing issues Monday, Oct. 27, according to an alert sent by the Federal Aviation Administration.

The FAA posted the alert for a ground delay at DFW Airport around 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 27. The delay lasted until about 10 p.m.

Flights were delayed an average of 18 minutes, according to the alert, with a maximum delay time of 72 minutes.

The FAA listed “staffing” as the reason for the ground delay.
