Barbecue family reunion in North Texas

Texas Monthly says the event will offer folks an “insider experience,” meaning fewer crowds than its annual barbecue festival in Lockhart.

The family reunion also aims to beat the heat, since it will take place in the evening hours and not in the sunny afternoon. The publication also highlighted how this event will take place in the backyard of North Texans, rather than in Central Texas like its festival.

In addition to the barbecue, there will be music throughout the evening. Texas Monthly barbecue editor Daniel Vaughn will also be in attendance.
