Homicide detectives investigating after body found at Fort Worth underpass

Fort Worth homicide detectives are investigating after a body was found beneath an underpass Thursday, officials with the Fort Worth Police Department said.

A passerby flagged down a Tarrant County sheriff’s deputy about the body, found at the underpass of Altamesa Boulevard and Interstate 35 West, officials said. The deputy then called police, who notified crime scene investigators and homicide detectives.

The dead person will be identified and the cause and manner of death will be determined by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.
