This theater chain is showing $1 movies in Dallas-Fort Worth. Here’s what’s playing
A movie theater chain in Dallas-Fort Worth is helping residents beat the heat with discounted tickets this summer.
After several days of 90-degree weather, the summer heat is returning to North Texas this week. In total, the region has recorded six days over 100 degrees this year.
The “Summer Movie Express” from Regal Cinemas is in full swing and selling moviegoers $1 tickets for the next month.
From now until Aug. 7, Regal theaters are screening two PG-rated movies every Tuesday and Wednesday morning at 11 a.m. Tickets for all movies during the promotion are $1, including for children, adults and seniors.

July 16-17
- “Clifford the Big Red Dog”
- “Sonic the Hedgehog”
July 23-24
- “Trolls Band Together”
- “Sonic the Hedgehog 2”
July 30-31
- “Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile”
- “Kung Fu Panda 3”
Aug. 6-7
- “Minions: The Rise of Gru”
- “Sing 2”

Regal has two locations in North Texas:
- Fort Worth: 6100 North Freeway
- Dallas: 11801 McCree Road
Is there a discount on snacks as well?
Yes, Regal is offering “Summer Movie Express” guests a special $5 snack pack.
The pack includes a junior-sized drink, snack-sized popcorn and fruit snacks. Dippin’ Dots can also be added for an extra $3.
