19-year-old woman killed in single-car accident on North Texas highway, police say

A 19-year-old woman was killed in a single-vehicle accident Monday afternoon on Texas 121 in Hurst, officials said.

The driver, identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office as Audrey Marie Johnson, of Euless, was pronounced dead about 3:50 p.m. in the emergency room at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Grapevine.

Officers responded to the accident on eastbound State Highway 121/183 near Hurstview Drive around 3 p.m., Hurst police told DFW Scanner.

Police said that no one else was involved in the crash and they were investigating the cause.
