What’s been canceled in DFW due to coronavirus? Here’s a list with live updates

Here’s a list of events that have been canceled or postponed in DFW due to coronavirus:

  • The 2020 MAIN ST. Fort Worth Arts Festival that was scheduled for April will be postponed, with tentative new dates planned for Sept. 3-6, 2020.

  • The Roadshow Tour 2020 featuring Bethel Music, Martin Smith of Delirious? and Unspoken. It was scheduled for March 27 at College Park Center.
  • The American Athletic Conference men’s basketball tournament. It was scheduled for Dickies Arena from March 12-15.
  • Dallas’ annual St Patrick’s Day Parade. The 41st annual event was supposed to take place Saturday, March 14.
  • Kenny Chesney’s concert scheduled for April 18 at AT&T Stadium.
  • Chris Stapleton’s All-American Road Show Tour, scheduled for Saturday, March 14, at Globe Life Field.

  • Public and private events in Sundance Square through March 31.

  • The Fort Worth Zoo will be closed through March 23.

  • Celebrate Southlake festival, scheduled for March 20-22 at Bicentennial Park.

  • Michael Bublé, scheduled for April 4 at Dickies Arena.

  • St. Paddy’s Pickle Parade and Palooza, scheduled for March 13-14 in Mansfield.

  • Ridgmar Mall has canceled all Easter Bunny photo sessions.

  • Programming at The Amphibian State, 123 S. Main St., through March.

  • NCAA gymnastics championships at Dickies Arena, April 17-18.

  • First United Methodist Church, Fort Worth: Worship services, group meetings, and activities until March 25.

  • Preliminaries of the Dallas Cowboys’ Heroes Day competition scheduled for March 20, as well as the finals set for April 4. Both events were to be held at AT&T Stadium.

  • Bass Hall: Schumann & Shostakovich, March 13-15; Alive at the Bass, March 17; Beautiful – The Carole King Musical, March 20-22; Image, Imbue & Bartok, March 27-29; Beethoven’s 9th, April 3-5; La Bohème, April 17 and 19; Revenge of the Bat, May 1 and 3; UNT One O’Clock Lab Band, May 1; Suzy Bogguss, May 2; A Midsummer Night’s Dream, May 8-10; Harth-Bedoya & Hadelich: A Grand Finale, May 15-17; The Cliburn International Amateur Piano Competition, May 24-30; all private events and tours scheduled at Bass Hall, McDavid Studio and the Van Cliburn Recital Hall.

  • Trinity Metro, Fort Worth’s transit authority, canceled its monthly board meeting, originally scheduled for March 23. Committee meetings that were scheduled for March 16 have also been canceled.

  • The grand opening of Charles Schwab’s new corporate headquarters in Westlake scheduled for March 18 with be postponed. A new date has not been picked.

  • Modern Museum, through March 30.

  • University Christian Church of Fort Worth, online services March 15 and March 22.

  • Six Flags in Arlington is closed through the end of March.

  • Euless is canceling the following events for senior citizens: Mystery lunch (3/18), Dollar Hot Dog Day (3/20), Pie Bake Off (3/25), FabEuless Finds (3/27), Cooking Class (3/30), Free Cookie Day (3/31), Senior Health Fair (4/3). The Library has elected to cancel youth programs at the Simmons Center on March 17 & 19 along with Coloring for Adults and Make It & Take It on March 16.

  • Bedford Senior Center, Boys Ranch Activity Center, Old Bedford School, Onstage and the Bedford Public Library will be closed from March 16 through March 30. All programming is cancelled through April 4.

  • Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, through March 30.

  • The March 14 board meeting of the Tarrant County Regional Water District was canceled. The board plans to meet again in April.

  • Kimbell Art Museum is temporarily closed.

  • Amon Carter Museum of American Art is temporarily closed.

  • Fortress Festival, scheduled for April 25-26, postponed.

  • Scripps Regional Spelling Bee, scheduled for March 24, at TCU, has been postponed.

  • Billy Bob’s Texas: Colter Wall (March 20) has bee postponed, Easton Corbin (March 21) rescheduled to June 10, Cory Morrow (March 27) postponed, Sammy Kershaw (March 28) postponed.

  • The Fort Worth Botanic Garden will be closed until April 15.
