Woman, 28, killed when car leaves Keller road, strikes brick wall, pole, police say

A 28-year-old woman was killed Saturday morning in Keller when the car she was driving on North Tarrant Parkway left the roadway and slammed into a barricade, brick wall and utility pole, authorities said.

Adrianna Rose Baxla, of Hurst, was pronounced dead at the site of the crash at 7:14 a.m. Saturday, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office. Police said a preliminary investigation indicated excessive speed contributed to the collision.

There were no other reported injuries.

Keller officers responded around 7:05 a.m. Saturday to the crash in the 900 block of North Tarrant Parkway, police said. The department determined the woman was driving west on the freeway when her car left the road near Lakeview Drive.

The car then struck the barricade, brick wall and utility pole, police said.
