El Paso man, 32, killed when vehicle slams into concrete wall in Grand Prairie

An El Paso man was killed early Saturday morning in Grand Prairie when his vehicle slammed into a concrete wall, authorities said.

Anthony Daniel Poole, 32, was pronounced dead at 3:05 a.m. inside Medical City Arlington, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office. The crash occurred around 2:30 a.m. in the 3700 block of South Belt Line Road in Grand Prairie, police said.

Witnesses told investigators the vehicle crossed multiple lanes of traffic before it collided with a concrete wall, police said. There were no other vehicles involved in the crash, police said, and no one else was injured.

Poole was transported to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Police haven’t ruled out the possibility that alcohol could have played a role in the crash.
