Two injured after train crashes into car stuck on tracks in north Arlington

Two people were injured Tuesday night when a train collided with a car in north Arlington, Arlington police said.

The two people, who were on the train, suffered minor injuries, Arlington police said.

The crash occurred on railroad tracks on North Collins Street near Mosier Valley Road in Arlington.

The driver of a car had tried to turn around on the tracks, but the car got stuck and then was hit by the train, police said.

No one was in the car at the time of the crash.
