A 68-year-old woman missing for hours from an Arlington neighborhood has been found safe and was being reunited with her family, Arlington police said.

Arlington police did not provide any other details.

A Silver Alert had been issued Tuesday for Beverly Linton, who went missing about midnight.

Linton was last seen in the 4900 block of Sierra Vista Court.

Arlington police believe Linton had been on foot and without a cell phone.
