Missing 68-year-old woman found safe, Arlington police say

A 68-year-old woman missing for hours from an Arlington neighborhood has been found safe and was being reunited with her family, Arlington police said.

Arlington police did not provide any other details.

A Silver Alert had been issued Tuesday for Beverly Linton, who went missing about midnight.

Linton was last seen in the 4900 block of Sierra Vista Court.

Arlington police believe Linton had been on foot and without a cell phone.

Two nights before Christmas in 1974, Rachel Trlica, Renee Wilson and Julie Moseley went shopping at the Seminary South Shopping Center and were never seen again. Their bodies have never been found and no suspects have been identified.
