Tarrant County reported 19 coronavirus deaths and 593 new cases on Sunday.
The 19 deaths are the highest single-day total since 26 were reported on Feb. 20.
The latest pandemic-related deaths include a Haltom City woman in her 50s, two Fort Worth men and a woman in their 60s, an Arlington woman in her 70s, a Haltom City man in his 70s, a Euless woman in her 70s, an Arlington man in his 70s, two Fort Worth men and two women in their 70s, a man from rural Tarrant County in his 70s, a Mansfield woman in her 80s, a Bedford man in his 80s, three Fort Worth women in their 80s, and a Hurst man older than 90.
All 19 had underlying health conditions, according to officials.
Tarrant County has confirmed 242,243 COVID-19 cases, including 2,873 deaths and an estimated 223,376 recoveries.
The county does not update hospital capacity, positive tests and other data on the weekends. Those updates will resume Monday.
