Tarrant County reports 4 deaths, 404 new confirmed COVID-19 cases Sunday

Tarrant County reported four coronavirus-related deaths and 404 new cases Sunday, bringing the totals to 272 deaths and 18,1616 confirmed infections.

The county has not yet released information on the four people who died from infection.

At least 8,186 patients have recovered, though the county website tracking COVID-19 statistics says hospitals and patients are not required to report recoveries.

Fort Worth and Arlington have had the highest numbers of infections and deaths, with Fort Worth at 8,432 infections and 151 deaths and Arlington reporting 3,600 infections and 42 deaths.

Men make up 51% of confirmed infections, and 81% of all confirmed COVID-19 patients are never hospitalized.

The county has 694 hospital beds occupied by confirmed coronavirus patients and 214 ventilators available. The county reports 1,733 hospital beds currently unoccupied.
