7-year-old girl among seven new coronavirus cases in Collin County

Collin County confirmed seven new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, including three in McKinney, and two each in Allen and Plano.

Among the new seven cases is a 7-year-old Allen girl who recently traveled domestically. She has no underlying health conditions and is in home isolation.

The county now has 38 confirmed cases with eight patients recovered. Two are currently hospitalized, 27 are in home isolation and one died last week. Health officials are currently monitoring 75 people for symptoms.

The six other new cases are 45 or older, including a 45-year-old Plano man who has an underlying health condition.
