Denton County now has 30 coronavirus cases across 13 cities, including 9 hospitalized

Denton County confirmed six new coronavirus cases for the second consecutive day, bringing its total to 30.

Eight of the patients are under the age of 40, including five in their 20s. Ten patients are 60 or older, including two over the age of 70.

The 30 patients are across 13 cities in the county, including eight in Denton, and five each in Frisco and Lewisville.

Nine patients are hospitalized and 21 are in home isolation. There are 17 male patients and 13 female patients.

Of the 30 cases, 15 are travel-related, 10 are from local transmission, two are pending an investigation and three were in contact with a confirmed case.
