Three patients in their 20s among six new Denton County coronavirus cases

Denton County confirmed six new coronavirus cases Saturday, including three patients in their 20s.

There have been 24 COVID-19 cases across 11 cities in the county, including seven in Denton, five in Lewisville and four in Frisco.

Among the 24, 13 are male, 11 are female. Eight of the patients are hospitalized.

Recent travel was identified with 13 of the cases, while eight were from local transmission and three came through contact with a previously-confirmed case.

The county provided no details on the conditions of the new patients.
