Tarrant County adds 10 more coronavirus cases, reports two recoveries

Tarrant County confirmed 10 new cases of the coronavirus Friday, bringing its total to 29.

The new cases include four in Arlington, two in Fort Worth, two in Lakeside, one in Keller and one in Euless.

The county reports two patients have recovered from the coronavirus.

Health officials are interviewing new patients, reviewing their travels and identifying and reaching out to others who may have been exposed.

Future positive cases will be posted at coronavirus.tarrantcounty.com.

COVID-19 causes respiratory illness with cough, fever, and shortness of breath, and may lead to bronchitis and severe pneumonia.

There are more than 16,000 confirmed cases of the coronavirus in the U.S. Tarrant County Public Health continues to urge following basic preventive measures to protect from COVID-19 and other respiratory viruses.
