Dallas County confirms 19 new coronavirus cases; total includes 27 under the age 41

Dallas County has confirmed 19 new coronavirus cases bringing the total to 74 cases of COVID-19.

Of the 74 cases, 21 people were hospitalized, including nine admitted to the intensive care unit. Four patients received mechanical ventilation. The county has confirmed one coronavirus-related death.

Among the total cases, 51 patients live in the city of Dallas, five live in Irving, and four live in both Garland and Mesquite. Forty-one are male, 33 are female.
