Denton County adds four more coronavirus cases, including woman in her 20s

Denton County has confirmed four new cases of the coronavirus, including a Lewisville woman in her 20s.

Denton County now has nine confirmed cases. Tarrant County has 19, and Dallas County has 55 as of Thursday afternoon. Collin County has had 17. Tarrant, Dallas and Collin counties each have reported one death.

Three of the four new Denton County cases have been identified as travel-related exposure, including the woman in her 20s. The others are a Lewisville woman in her 50s, who contracted the virus through community spread, a Frisco man in his 40s, and a Denton man in his 60s. All are self-quarantined at home.

COIVD-19 symptoms may appear in as few as two days or as long as 14 days after exposure. Some patients can have more severe symptoms, complications, and/or death.
