A new Trader Joe’s is coming to this fast-growing Fort Worth suburb
Trader Joe’s, the cult-favorite grocer known for its affordable wine, charcuterie selection, frozen meals and canvas tote bags, is opening another store in Tarrant County.
Currently, Trader Joe’s has only two stores here – one in Fort Worth along Hulen Street, and another in Southlake.
According to a filing with the state, the company plans to open a new location in Mansfield, in addition to future stores in Frisco and McKinney.
Trader Joe’s is a California-based grocer that stocks mostly its own private-label products. There are no coupons, no memberships and rarely any sales to ensure customers are always promised the same price.
Where will Trader Joe’s open in Mansfield?
Trader Joe’s will open at 3020 Matlock Road in Mansfield.
The new location will compete with grocers like Kroger, Sprouts and Aldi, which are all located within a mile of the site.
When will Trader Joe’s open in Mansfield?
Trader Joe’s has not confirmed when the new location will open.
According to the state filing documents, construction is expected to wrap up by March 2027.
