This New York cookie chain will open its first Texas location in DFW soon
New York City-based cookie chain Chip City Cookies will open its first DFW location in McKinney soon.
Cookie franchises are pretty popular here in North Texas — there’s Crumbl, Cookie Society, Tiff’s Treats and Insomnia.
However, Chip City Cookies is known for its large, ooey-gooey cookies with a soft center.
The chain opened in 2017 in Queens, New York. The McKinney location will be the chain’s 50th store, and its first-ever in Texas. Other Chip City locations include New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Maryland, Virginia and Florida.
Here’s what to know about the new Texas location.
