Do you want an H-E-B in Fort Worth? Star-Telegram readers can weigh in on grocer expansion

While San Antonio-based grocer H-E-B has started construction on new stores in the Dallas area, there have been no announcements for when Fort Worth will get a location closer to the city.

There are two locations near Fort Worth in Burleson and in Hudson Oaks toward Weatherford — both about 25-30 minutes away from the city.

H-E-B, the popular Texas grocery store chain whose slogan is “Here, Everything’s Better,” purchased land in Mansfield — also about 25 minutes away from Fort Worth — in 2016, but six years later there have been no updates on when construction will start.
