Motorcyclist killed after losing control of bike on U.S. 287, Fort Worth police say

A motorcyclist was killed Saturday, Oct. 26, after crashing near the intersection of U.S. 287 and Village Creek Road, officials with the Fort Worth Police Department said.

Investigators said the motorcyclist lost control of the bike, according to WFAA-TV.

Officers responded to the call at about 5:35 p.m., and the rider was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the motorcyclist as Jimmy Ramirez, 53, of Fort Worth.

Police are continuing to investigate what caused the accident.
