Where you can get a specialty $8 burger for Fort Worth Burger Week
Along with this year’s 30th annual DFW restaurant week celebration comes the eighth annual Fort Worth Burger Week.
From Monday, Aug. 17 until Sunday, Aug. 23, more than 30 Fort Worth and Dallas restaurants pay a $150 fee to participate in Burger Week, and 100 percent of those proceeds will go to local food banks.
Additionally, the businesses offer $8 specialty burgers to draw in more customers. In what can be a summer slum for some restaurants, Burger Week promotes extra traffic and service for our local eateries.
What’s Up Fort Worth, who organizes Burger Week, will soon release a Burger Week passport that includes details about each participating restaurant and their specialty $8 burgers.
Each $8 specialty burger eaten during the week automatically gives you one entry into a grander giveaway. Winners get a grand prize of a Backyard Hamburger Party for 30 people courtesy of the Hamburger Man, a Dallas-based burger caterer.
What are the Burger Week deals?
Each participating restaurant from Fort Worth or Dallas will offer a specialty burger for $8.
Burger Week passports will include the restaurants, location, hours, specialty burger details and their conditions for dine-in, take out and delivery.
