Steakhouse with bottomless fries and craft cocktails soft launches in Fort Worth

New steakhouse Seared welcomed guests for a soft opening this past weekend, serving steaks and high-end cocktails in a rustic setting.

Co-owner Chris Jordan mentioned on Facebook the restaurant is “slightly upscale.” Every guest will enjoy a prix fixe menu of steak, a seared romaine parmesan salad and bottomless fries.

Seared took the space of the former Pearl Snap Kolaches bakery at 4006 White Settlement Road. Pearl Snap closed after 12 years in early 2025 due to financial strain.

Jordan and his team, Bailey Batts, Kristin Peaks Thomas and Jywon Young, signed the lease to the space, and three days later, someone drove a Dodge Challenger through the front. Then a few months after that, a second Dodge Challenger slammed through the side of the building’s drywall.

After a frenzy of local news, the word about Seared was out.

According to licensing documents, Jordan and his team gave the space an interior remodel and added a bar. Jordan owns both The Rabbit Hole Pub and Mad Hatter Pub in Fort Worth, and will bring his bar expertise to Seared with craft cocktails, a wine list and good beer selection.

What to expect on the Seared menu

According to Seared’s website, the steakhouse’s core prix fixe dinner consists of a New York strip steak, salad, bread and butter, and unlimited house fries.

Guests can upgrade their steak to another premium steak offering like a filet or tomahawk. A-la-carte sides will also be available, rotating regularly depending on the season. Photos on Instagram show a sneak peek into Brussels sprouts and mac and cheese.

When will Seared officially open?

According to a Facebook comment from Jordan, Seared is hoping to officially open by the end of June.

Jordan has not responded to the Star-Telegram emails or calls for further information.

Reservations are not yet available. However, excited customers can join the Seared newsletter on the restaurant’s website for the most up-to-date news. The restaurant also posts updates toits Facebook and Instagram accounts.
