This miniature golf course/restaurant opens soon in Fort Worth’s West 7th area
Just in time for hot summer weather, Fort Worth is getting a new indoor activity and restaurant space.
Dirdie Birdie is he long-awaited miniature golf course, restaurant and bar replacing the old Bottled Blonde building in Fort Worth’s West 7th Entertainment District.
While West 7th is mostly known as a nightclub and bar scene, new tenants like Dirdie Birdie, Top of the Morning Brunch House and the upcoming Partenope offer a different vibe. Dirdie Birdie will provide a mini-golf experience as well as a snazzy restaurant with an elevated brunch.
The mini-golf course has 12 Fort Worth-themed holes. However, customers can choose to visit just for the restaurant or just for the putt-putt course.
Glimpse into Dirdie Birdie Fort Worth’s menu
For a mini-golf course, this place has quite the brunch menu. One brunch burger has smashed wagyu patties, bacon, an over-easy egg and crispy potatoes. If you care for a potato hash, there’s one with braised short ribs. And for something sweet, there will be matcha-strawberry pancakes. Brunch is served 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Bang bang popcorn shrimp and yellowfin tuna tostada are a few of the starters. For handhelds, there is a “7th Street Smash Patty” with wagyu beef and red chili braised pork.
Main dishes include upscale entrées like Denver prime steak frites or a 24-hour coffee braised short rib with mashed potatoes.
Dirdie Birdie will also have a full bar of cocktails, beer, wine and frozen drinks.
When will Dirdie Birdie Fort Worth open?
Dirdie Birdie announced in a news release Wednesday, June 3 that the Fort Worth location is slated to open in the last week of June. Updates will be posted on Dirdie Birdie Fort Worth’s Instagram account.
Some holes will feature odes to the historic Stockyards, Sundance Square, Panther City and the Fort Worth Courthouse.
The course also has PuttView technology, a system that tracks the ball and allows guests to play interactive games like “putt-pong.”
The new mini-golf course and restaurant can be found at 2821 Morton St.
