Get your last bottomless popcorn and glass of wine before The Magnolia closes

There’s only a few weekends left to enjoy live music with a glass of wine at The Magnolia. The owners of the wine bar announced the upcoming closire in social media posts on Saturday, April 18.

“This space has been more than a bar; it’s been a place filled with laughter, music, and moments we’ll never forget. That’s all because of you,” read the announcement.

The Magnolia wine bar was originally known as Kent & Co Wines before ownership changed from twins Will Churchill and Corrie Watson to Marty and Marilyn Englander in 2019.

You may know the Near Southside tavern for the white magnolia mural that graces the patio brick wall, or for its seasonal flights, crafty cocktails and bottomless popcorn.

The wine bar was just included in Culturemap’s tastemaker awards for the 10 best bars in Fort Worth. But unfortunately, the 12-year-old establishment will pour its final glasses of wine on May 16.

The Magnolia wine bar closing

The Magnolia is named after the street it is located on, at 1101 W. Magnolia Ave.

Happy hour is daily from 3 to 5 p.m. with $8 wine glasses and well drinks, $10 batch cocktails, $5 beer and $15 charcuterie boards.

There is live music on on Fridays and Saturdays. For the last few weekends, Brad Thompson will perform on Fridays and La Bell on Saturdays.

Other closing events will be shared through Magnolia Wine Bar’s social media accounts.
