OpenTable says World Cup fans should visit these DFW restaurants
Soccer fans from all over will pour into North Texas to attend the 2026 FIFA World Cup this summer.
The metroplex will be busy. AT&T Stadium (which will be rebranded as Dallas Stadium during the tournament) will host nine matches — five in the group stage, which begins on June 14, and four in the knockout round, including a semifinal on July 14.
In preparation for the influx of guests, restaurants are opening in the Arlington entertainment district and curating festive limited time menus.
Along with the opening of The Original Roy Hutchins Barbeque at 1600 E. Copeland Road on Interstate 30, two other restaurants also opened near AT&T– Loma TXMX in Choctaw Stadium and The Londoner Pub, a Dallas-based British pub.
Soy Cowboy in the Loews Arlington Hotel told the Star-Telegram they are curating a FIFA-exclusive menu with pork schnitzel, fish and chips, burgers and Australian wagyu to appeal to any fan’s palettes.
But fans will be staying all over DFW and not just eating near the stadium in Arlington. Because of this, OpenTable curated a list of “where soccer fans should visit in Dallas this summer.”
