How to get free food at a new Fort Worth Chick-fil-A opening this month

A familiar favorite is moving into one of Fort Worth’s busiest dining stretches.

A new Chick-fil-A will soon open along Eastchase Parkway, adding its name to a growing strip of eateries near the Arlington line.

The new location will open at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 10. The restaurant will celebrate with themed giveaways and community donations.

Here’s what to know about the new location and how to score free food on opening day.

Where will the new Chick-fil-A be located?

The restaurant will be located at 1700 Eastchase Parkway in Fort Worth near the I-30 corridor, just minutes from Arlington.

The area has become a busy retail and dining hub, with nearby favorites like Popeyes, Starbucks, and Texas Roadhouse drawing steady crowds .

The Eastchase location will serve guests Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., with dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, catering, delivery and mobile ordering options.

The dining room and playground will close at 9 p.m., and like all Chick-fil-A restaurants, it will remain closed on Sundays.

How can customers get free food on opening day?

Chick-fil-A will host its “Cows Eat Free” event on opening day, inviting guests to embrace the Cowtown spirit.

Anyone who shows up wearing cow spots or a cow-themed accessory can receive one free entrée or kid’s meal, either inside the restaurant or in the drive-thru.

Breakfast options include the Chicken Biscuit, Egg White Grill, or Chick-n-Minis, while lunch and dinner choices include the Original or Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Grilled Nuggets, or a Kid’s Meal.

The offer is limited to one per person in cow attire while supplies last, and no purchase is necessary.

How will this Chick-fil-A give back to Fort Worth?

To celebrate the opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. will donate $25,000 to Feeding America, with funds going toward hunger relief efforts in the Fort Worth area.

The restaurant will also join the Chick-fil-A Shared Table program, which redistributes surplus food to local nonprofits.

Through the initiative, restaurants partner with community organizations to provide meals for families in need.

Owner Carmenza Moreno said in a news release the new Eastchase location will create about 100 local jobs and continue the company’s tradition of community service.
