Cicis Pizza celebrates 40 years with rewards. How to get a buffet for 1985 price

Cicis Pizza launched its first-ever rewards program for anyone who would like to join. Members who joined before Nov. 10 will get the same price guests paid when the first Cicis opened its doors 40 years ago.
Cicis originally planned to keep the special going all November long, but due to extremely high demand, they had to pause the deal and keep it for customers that signed up right away.
“We’re blown away by the excitement around our new Cicis Rewards™ launch and the return of our original $2.99 buffet,” said Cicis Pizza in an emailed statement. “In just a few days, hundreds of thousands of fans signed up to join and our restaurants and distribution centers have been working around the clock to serve every guest at our 270 locations across the country.”
Cicis is known for its all-you-can-eat buffet where guests can load their plates with pizza, salad, pasta, breads and dessert.
The pizza buffet at Cicis is normally $9.99 for adults and $5.99 for children. With the 1985 special, buffet prices are nearly 70 percent off for adults and 50 percent off for children.

How much is Cicis’ buffet with the 1985 member special?
When Cicis Pizza opened its doors in 1985, guests could eat at the all-you-can-eat buffet for $2.99. That’s the price point rewards members can expect when they join the program.
Yes, that’s right, those who joined between Nov. 3 and Nov. 10 can eat at Cicis Pizza for a whopping $2.99.

How to join the Cicis Rewards program
To join Cicis Pizza loyalty program, sign up online or download the app to make an account.
- Guests will need to provide a phone number or email address.
- Guests will also need to provide a birthday.
- And finally guests will need to provide a zip code.
- Guests will also need to agree to Cicis’ terms and conditions.
For guests who joined in time, they will need to access a coupon available in the Cicis app to scan in store. The $2.99 offer is valid for up to four guests. It is a one-time use coupon.
The rewards program gives guests 10 points for every dollar they spend. With enough points, members can redeem exclusive coupons and free items as well as a birthday surprise every year. Points expire one year from when they appear in an account.
