This Michelin-recommended pizzeria now has two Fort Worth locations

A Michelin-recommended thin crust pizzeria now has two locations in Fort Worth.

Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza opened in Alliance in June and now a second location off West Seventh street opened in Left Bank Shopping Center last month.

Mister O1 comes from Chef Renato Viola, who has won awards for his pizza in Italy. The pizza’s ingredients are either imported from Italy or locally-sourced. Their pies are chewy and thin crust style.

The original Mister O1 in Miami Beach gained recognition by the Miami Michelin Guide in 2022. But Chef Viola’s expertise goes way back to 2014 before he opened the first Mister O1.

The name “O1” comes from the O-1 worker’s visa, which is reserved for immigrants who possess “extraordinary ability in the sciences, arts, education, business, or athletics,” according to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

Now Mister O1 has more than 30 locations in Florida, Georgia and Texas. Besides the two now in Fort Worth, there are also pizzerias in Dallas, Flower Mound, Mansfield and Grapevine.

Menu highlights at Mister O1 Pizza

Mister O1 offers thin crust pizzas in 13 inch or 8 inch sizes. They also have calzone and burrata served with focaccia and salads.

“You can stick with the menu (as we did) or get creative with your own custom order — either way, you’ll be planning your next visit before you walk out of the door,” said a Fort Worth Foodie Facebook member after attending the Alliance soft opening.
