No restaurants close in recent Arlington health inspections; 7 have followup inspections

No restaurants failed health inspections or required reinspections in Arlington between Oct. 31 and Nov. 6, according to data from the city compiled by the Star-Telegram.

Health inspectors with the city visited 39 establishments during that period, including Lupe’s Tex Mex Grill, which was allowed to reopen after a follow-up inspection. The restaurant had closed the week before.

Seven other restaurants had followups based on previous weeks’ scores.

Salata at 4100 South Cooper was the only restaurant to receive a perfect score.

Arlington grades restaurants on a scale of 0 to 100, with 100 being a perfect score. A score of 70 is considered to be extremely poor, but restaurants that have serious health code violations or that inspectors deem needing a follow-up inspection can be required to have one, no matter the score.

Here are the inspection scores and violations for restaurants within the city limits of Arlington for the week of Oct. 31st - Nov. 6th, 2021. A score of 100 is a perfect score and 70 is considered to be extremely poor. Reinspections will be conducted for restaurants that score 75 or less. If serious health and sanitation violations are considered an imminent health hazard, the restaurant will be closed until the identified health hazard has been mitigated.
