Concrete Cowboy receives most violations in latest Fort Worth restaurant inspections
Out of 52 restaurant inspections in Fort Worth, Concrete Cowboy was the only business to receive over 30 violations during the week of Oct. 24-30 and had to undergo a follow-up inspection.
Concrete Cowboy, located at 2901 Crockett St., received 32 violations on Oct. 25 for lack of cross-contamination prevention, unclean food contact surfaces and expired food products, including diablo sauce, according to city data compiled by the Star-Telegram.
In Fort Worth inspections, restaurants with over 30 infractions are required to fix the worst violations immediately and clean up the rest within 48 hours.
The sports bar received a score of 13 during its follow-up inspection on Oct. 27.
Four perfect scores were recorded in the latest inspections. Three new restaurants, Daves Hot Chicken at 4608 Bryant Irvin Road, Los Pinitos Mexican Restaurant at 4400 E. Berry St. and Panda Express at 5625 S. Hulen St., have all recently opened.
The fourth perfect score was given to the buffet at the Kimbell Art Museum, at 3333 Camp Bowie Blvd. Inspection report data shows two inspections for the museum took place on Oct. 26, with one inspection score of 11 followed by a perfect score in the next.
