One closure, 11 follow-up inspections recorded in latest Arlington restaurant reports

One restaurant closure and 11 follow-up inspections were recorded in the latest Arlington restaurant inspection report for Oct. 24-30.

Lupe’s Tex Mex Grill at 770 E. Road to Six Flags St. was closed on Oct. 27 by inspectors after receiving a score of 66, according to inspection data compiled by the Star-Telegram.

In Arlington inspections, a score of 100 is perfect and a score under 75 requires a follow-up inspection. A score of 70 and under is considered extremely poor.

Reasons for the inspected restaurants’ infractions were not listed on the report.

New York Eats at 604 Doug Russell Road, Subway at 916 Six Flags Drive and La Isla del Encanto Restaurant at 2201 E. Pioneer Parkway were among the 11 follow-up inspections for the week.

Here are the inspection scores and violations for restaurants within the city limits of Arlington for the week of Oct. 24th - 30th, 2021. A score of 100 is a perfect score and 70 is considered to be extremely poor. Reinspections will be conducted for restaurants that score 75 or less. If serious health and sanitation violations are considered an imminent health hazard, the restaurant will be closed until the identified health hazard has been mitigated.
