Whataburger brings the heat in new two-patty burger for the summer
Whataburger has introduced a burger that brings the heat just in time for the summer.
The Texas institution debuted its new Pico de Gallo Burger this week includes two all-beef patties, two slices of pepper jack cheese topped with fresh pico de gallo and the fast-food chain’s new creamy cilantro lime sauce. All of it sits between toasted, five-inch buns.
“The combination creates a unique pop of bright flavors with the perfect kick,” a Whataburger release promises.
The Whataburger corporation announced an unspecified number of layoffs earlier this week in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. The chain first announced furloughs and layoffs in April.
